New publication by Victor Cruz in SPPQ


Victor's article has been accepted for publication by State Politics and Policy Quarterly (co-authored with Caroline Beer). The paper uses a mixed method and mixed level approach, combining comparative case studies of national and subnational gay rights policy with an ordered probit analysis of the same-sex relationship laws across the states of Mexico and the United States.  A pre-publication version can be found here

New publication by Christian Martin in ISQ


New publication by Christian Martin: Christian's paper "Policy Alteration: Rethinking Diffusion Processes when Policies have Alternatives"(co-authored with Federica Genovese and Florian Kern) has been accepted for publication by International Studies Quarterly. The paper analyzes diffusion processes in the context of policy alternatives that are be adopted as a result of cross-border diffusion.

Kaabel awarded Federal State Scholarship


Annika has been awarded a prestigeous Federal State Scholarship for her doctoral studies at the University of Kiel. The full scholarship is given to doctoral candidates of exceptional ability. Annika will work on the intersection of migration and labour markets.
